Into the Woods- Cinderella IIby ~unusual-filament

Costume designgs for Cinderella in her ball gown from Into the Woods. They're all silver since the story is following the Grimm Brothers' version that has a silver dress and gold shoes. On the left is a more traditional design. It would be silk or satin of varying shades of silver with gold trim and accents. Her shoes are, of course, gold. The middle is a Regency/Napoleonic era dress, based on the costumes used in Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility. It would also be silver silk or satin with lace trim. The design on the right goes with my less serious Final Fantasy styled designs. The under dress would be lightweight cotton and the silver dress would be heavy silk with boning in the bodice for shape. Micron pen and Tombow marker on watercolor paper.
